The day had come for Elizabeth and Joe to elope at the top of the mountain in Colorado. The day was September 9th, 2019, and when we arrived to the top, much to our surprise it was freezing!! You have to remember the weather at the very top of the mountain can be dramatically different than in town. But the best part about having a morning elopement was that no one was out there. We felt like we had the entire mountain to ourselves. We just loved having an adventure and exploring the mountain.
With the COVID-19 pandemic going on, most of my couples are now having to downsize their large weddings to elopements. Elopements these days are more like intimate weddings unless if it’s just the couple like Elizabeth and Joe.
There is something so special about elopements. The day is about the couple and the vows they make to each other. During this terrible time, love is not canceled and they get to tuned out the rest of the world and what’s going on for a truly magical day. As a Colorado Elopement Photographer I get to see how truly beautiful Colorado is. When picking your adventure elopement photographer in Colorado you might want to pick someone that can help picking the perfect location for what you are looking for.
