Lauren and Dan’s wedding day was one for the books thats for sure. I just could not believe how hot and bright it was outside. I started the day Pinery on the Hill for some getting ready photos while my second photographer Cara hung out with the groomsman at Antler Hotel in Colorado Springs. The ceremony was to take place at St. Mary’s Cathedral downtown Colorado Springs. I loved that you could see the church from the brides getting ready room. Such a great view. When I first did Lauren and Dan’s engagement photos at Red Rock Open Space I was not expecting the rowdy bunch of people I got on the wedding day. At the engagement session they were so quiet and reserved but I guess everyone is at first.
Their Catholic wedding was truly straight out of a fairy tail and I could not have been more happy to be their wedding photographer.
