This wedding at Strawberry Creek Ranch in Granby, CO was one for the books. This day was like one I had never experienced in my LIFE. The day started off with a little bit of rain just like another wedding in the mountains in the Summer. Man were we in for a surprise! The rain just kept playing tricks on us. It went away and came back three different time. But because the storm was there and the sun at the same time, it made for some pretty epic pictures. This was the very fist time I had ever seen the end of a rainbow and it was breath taking.
When the ceremony started, the sun was out and shinning, by the time Makinzie started walking down the isle it started sprinkling and in the middle of their I DO’s we got hit with a hard down poor. Everyone was already there and these two just wanted to get married so they said, let the show go on. Most fun I’ve ever had during a ceremony but I did look like a drowned rat. Because it was raining so hard we decided to do all pictures after dinner and it ended up being the most perfect lighting I could have asked for. Then again in the middle of their romantic pictures it started raining and we were about to call it quits as the bride just had her hair and make up redone. We were walking back, looked over our shoulder and saw a triple rainbow. I was in photography heaven! Lets just say the rain finally passed and the party went on!
