This is one Vail wedding that I will never forget. Weeks for the a wedding brides look at the weather non stop hoping for the perfect wedding day. This is something brides cannot change so one of my biggest advise is please do not keep looking at the weather and stress over it. Come rain or shine, you get to marry your best friend and the day will be perfect and let’s just say if it does rain it brings character to your wedding and when the rain does stop it makes for the most beautiful lighting.
The wedding day started out with some getting ready photos at the Westin Riverfront hotel in Beaver Creek. I could not believe how beautiful Nicole was. He dress was had a timeless feel to it and it was perfect for her. Nicole and Taylor decided they didn’t want to do a first look as he wanted to see her for the first time walking down the aisle. So we decided to do some photos of just the bridesmaids and groomsmen before the Colorado wedding ceremony to save some time after. I’m so happy we decided to take those photos as it started to rain during the wedding ceremony. Lighting during rain just makes for beautiful even light and it just makes the colors pop. These two were such troopers, like most weddings things did not go as plan so I recommended that they go take moment together waiting for the rain to stop and then go outside for their family and romantic photos. The timing could not be more perfect, the sun came out as we were starting the family photos and by the time we got to just them the Colorado lighting was perfect. I remember to this day, it was out of a fairy tail.
