Oh my goodness lets just say this was an amazing wedding! I just love my Texas couples! I was so excited to photograph Morgan and Brets Timber Ridge wedding in Keystone. I mean who wouldn’t, bot the couple and the venue took my breath away.
I always tell my couple to prepare for some rain but it usually passes. Well a wedding at Timber Ridge is a little different as if there is any lightning with in 5 miles they will shut down the gondola. Thats the tough part as that is the only way to get to the venue. Luckily Morgan had a relaxed timeline and put the majority of her photography timeline at the beginning. So when the gondola shut down for I believe 2hrs we still all set for the ceremony to start on time. We pushed that start time up a few minutes as the storm was coming back. When Morgan started to walk down the isle, it hit us. Not only did it start rain but it also started to hail. We had no idea what to do as she just started walking. We left it up to Morgan and she said lets do it!!!! I love when couples embrace the Colorado weather. Luckily shorty after the ceremony started the rain and hail stopped and we had a beautiful Colorado Mountain wedding.
