This has to be my favorite elopement I have ever done and you will see why. When I first spoke to Maggie she mentioned getting in a jeep and going to the top of the mountain. I was like heck ya, that sounds awesome. I had no idea what I was in for until I meet with her and Cory over coffee. They informed that they were gonna get married at the beginning of the trail and then I was going to hop in the jeep with them and rock climb in the jeep up the mountain. I was still like heck ya, I get to go to the top of the mountain and I don’t have to hike?? I’m in! I was so excited to photograph this elopement also because it was at sunrise.
The day had come and these two had me for 6hrs to photograph their adventure elopement at Wheeler Pass. This entire day I was in disbelief that I get to do this for a living. This trail was drop dead gorgeous and I was in heaven. Cory and Maggie made this day so easy. You could tell how much they loved each other and what a team they were. I really hope I get to photograph more adventure elopements. I love getting to be part of couples big days when its just the three of us.
